The OACYC has been publishing newsletters for members almost since its inception in 1959, under a variety of names: News & Views, Open Window, ássociation, The Child Care Worker Review, and frequently just Newsletter. The Chronicle, and then CYC Chronicle began in 1990 and in the past eight years has grown from a readership of 300 or so to over 2000.

It is published every 2 months, beginning in February, and regularly runs to 12 pages.  All members and supporters receive the Chronicle along with various inserts advertising conferences, workshops, and resources for CYCs.

Advertising in the Chronicle
Free 2- to 6-line advertising is provided free within the Chronicle (space permitting).  For ads of 1/4 page or more, or for inserts, there is a fee, with discounts available to "Organizational Supporters."  The quality of the newsletter and the 2000+ circulation has attracted advertisers from across Ontario, Canada, the USA, and abroad.  For a print copy of our rates, click HERE for a Word 97 version OR contact the editor at:     office@oacyc.org.
